After one semester of burning midnight candles and working hard in school, my friends and I decidedto seek refuge and to escape the stressful life in the city even for just a day before we totally lose our sanity and Camotes was the perfect place for that getaway.

On the day of our trip, we decided to meet at E-mall at around 7am, from E-mall we rode a jeep going to North Bus Terminal and a mini bus going to Danao but you also have another option of riding a jeep instead in going to Danao just stop near SunGold instead of heading straight to the terminal.

We arrived at the port at around 9am, an hour late behind our schedule (Traffic was so bad)) and unluckily the boat just left 30 minutes prior our arrival and we have to wait until 11:30 for the next trip. With a lot of time to spare, we opted to have an early lunch and check out Danao church and plaza which was just across the ort.

After settling down Kuya Rexboy offered to take us on tour for P1,200.00 but since we are good at bargaining we were able to strike a deal with Kuya for P1,000.00. The tour was indeed a good catch since it originally cost P1,500.00 and besides our original plan was just to stay in the resort since we were on a tight budget but I'm glad that we didn't since there was indeed more to see in Camotes other than their prestine white sand beaches.

| The following day |
The following morning, I was the first to get up, it was still early but no regrets since I woke up to a post card perfect view. The sunrise, the white sand and the blue sea really did complement each other. At around 8, the 2 Idiots woke up so we had breakfast then we were ready to hit the beach.
But as the cliche expression goes, "Every good thing must come to an end" so we had to bid goodbye to the beautiful island of Camotes. We checked out at around 12, had our lunch and headed to Consuelo port.
It truly was a sembreak to remember and I'd surely be going back!
xoxo,
Louella :)
